the Maurizio Cattelan retrospective at Guggenheim is perhaps the best solo show i have seen* at that museum. the artist entire career is suspended from the ceiling in a giant, breathtaking mobile. eat your heart out Calder.

also the Guggenheim has released it’s first app related to a show for the Cattelan retrospective, and it is narrated by John Waters!

*my favorite show ever at Guggenheim is still the Tino Sehgal show “This Progress”, but there was nothing to “see”.
